Police are looking for two female bicyclists who were caught on video vandalizing fallen Police officer Brad Fox Memorial, who was killed in the line of duty in 2012. Please share.

The Plymouth Township Police Detective Division is seeking assistance in attempting to identify the suspects depicted in this video. On September 26, 2020 at 3:24 pm, the two female bicycle riders you can observe in this video stopped along the Schuylkill River Trail, at the memorial site honoring Officer Brad Fox. Officer Fox gave his life on this spot on September 13, 2012, in service to the public.

As you will see, the female suspects stopped with the sole and express purpose of desecrating the memory of, and the memorial to, Officer Brad Fox. After stopping, one female acts as a lookout, while the other female removes a flag flying at the memorial site, and then discards it in the weeds next to the memorial.

We respectfully request that anyone with knowledge regarding the identity of the suspects contact the Plymouth Township Police Department at 610-279-1901 or Detective Sergeant Schwartz at CSchwartz@PlymouthTownship.org

Brad, a former Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq, was killed on September 13, 2012 while pursuing a suspect involved in a hit-and-run. He was shot and later died at the hospital.

Brad’s parents are trying to make sense of the vandalism.

“That flag didn’t just represent Brad, that represents all police officers who protect all of us every day,” said Brad’s mother, Kathy Fox.
